Teamsters Local 127

About Us:

Our Local was first organized in 1957 soon after the Massachusetts Turnpike was established. Local 127 represents the largest segment of the Massachusetts Pike workers. In addition to toll collectors, Local represents also represents road maintenance, building maintenance, couriers, custodians, mechanics, special projects and tourist information. The current Business Agents for Local 127 are Secretary-Treasurer/Principal Officer Robert F. Cullinane and President Michael T. Cullen.

What We Do:

Teamsters Local 127 works toward the single objective of maintaining Interstate 90 to exemplary standards and providing expedient, courteous service. Our members participate in a variety of charitable causes and we have been very successful in raising funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund and the Marine Corps Annual Toys For Tots program. As public sector workers, members of Local 127 do not have the right to strike. However, we have been proud to walk the picket lines with our brothers and sisters from other Teamster Local throughout Joint Council 10.
