Research & Campaigns

We are constantly working to make sure we are in a position to negotiate the strongest contracts  and make our cuases known. To help accomplish this, we've developed two resources: The Reserach Branch and The Strategic Campaigns Branch of JC10. 

The Research Branch is responsible for:

• Supplying Local Unions with Financial and other details about a company or industry.
• Tracking and monitoring certain Teamster Industries and employers to keep up-to-date intelligence on hand.
• To give Local Unions in New England an edge in negotiations by analyzing a company's status before, during, and after the collective bargaining process.

The Strategic Campaigns Branch is responsible for:

• Coordinating Rallies and Demonstrations to attract public and media attention to a particular issue or cause.
• Work in Coalition with other organizations to pressure Corporations and Employers.
• Work with Local unions and the Joint Council to plan and implement Organizing Drives.
