Teamsters Rx Will Gain Three New Participating Funds in January 2010
Daniel J. Sullivan, who heads the organization, reports these three additions:
Teamsters Local 1150 with 8,000 members
Teamsters Local 671, including active members with 4,000 lives
Anheuser Busch Breweries with 9,000 lives
Teamsters Rx will now be providing pharmacy benefits for 100,000 Union lives (members and dependents).
Local 633 Continues to Take a Stand Against Unfair Labor Practices
Tom Noonan reports that unfair labor practices have been filed against the Hooksett, NH Police Commission and the Chief of Police for breaching the collective bargaining agreement and unjustly terminating a police officer.
Unfair labor practices have also been filed and heard before the New Hampshire Public Employee Labor Relations Board, against the Town of Hampton, NH for the elimination of the Sick Leave Bank without negotiating with the Union first.
